What is Project K-MUSE?
KISS- School, College, and University, is the largest Indigenous Educational Institution in the world. It values attitudes, knowledge, and skills toward inclusive and sustainable solutions. KISS is expanding to create diversified spaces that reflect these ideals, promoting personal/community experiences and furthering the Institution’s prominence as an Indigenous Cultural reference in India and the world. In furthering this aspiration, Project KMUSE is conceptualising a pedagogical museum offering dynamic spaces for recreation, engagement, exploration, and collaboration:
- Focussing on living cultures and living traditions through place-making.
- Highlighting the concepts of Indigeneity, Inclusivity, and Creativity.
- Fostering empathy with a shared vision through the museum as a platform for collaborative learning, and teaching.
- Developing India/Asia’s first Pedagogical Museum as a Landscape Museum and Carbon Neutral Museum.
Project K-MUSE initiated by our Founder Professor Dr Achyuta Samanta, with the philosophy of Educate, Enable, and Empower, will lead to the establishment of the future Kalinga International Academy of Indigenous Cultures as an International Centre of Excellence.
